This set of Snap-On Tools sockets are from the WWII era. They are all 1/4 inch drive six point deep sockets. All sockets are stamped with the code year of "E" which means they were made in 1944-1945. According to a website for the history of Snap On codes, these should be made of, or have a coating of Cadmium (not positive on how to read that part of the code).
All sockets are slightly etched "GSJ" and that should stand for "Government Services" but I don't know what the letter J designates.

STM-10-E 5/16ths
STM-14-E 7/16ths
Other than the coloring, the sockets are in excellent condition. Neither the drive end or the 6 point socket size end have any chipping or stripped out areas.
