34th Support Battalion of the U.S. Army. DUI DI Insignia Pin. When I obtained it, it was attached to a small homemade cardboard square. Written on the cardboard it says "34th Sup Bat" and "unk early date". That would have been written by a past owner.

The pin measures about 1-1/4 inch. On the front it has the motto of "Provisus Vires" along the bottom. The back shows a makers name of N.S. Meyer, New York. There are also 2 shields on the back. I can't tell what the shield on the right says, but the shield on the left has the numbers 22 over the letter M. The back has a double clutch holder.

You will receive the actual pin that you see in my photo. The coloring is very vibrant and I believe the pin is enamel (but am not sure).

Regarding what is printed on the card about "unk early date", although the front of the pin is in great condition, the back does show age wear. If I had to guess I'd say this pin is at least from the 1970s and probably much earlier.

NOTE: On the pins that I show as having more than a quantity of one, the pins may have different maker or numbers printed on the back. If that is a concern for you, feel free to contact me and I'll provide the exact information for each pin.

I obtained a large lot of pins recently at an estate sale of a man who was a very serious pin collector. I was told he served in Vietnam so that was the time frame he specialized in but that he also collected pins from as early as WWI, WWII, and Korean War time frames.

This gentleman is moving into an assisted living facility, so his estate is being liquidated. The large lot of pins that I purchased consisted of 723 pins that he collected. I will list them several at a time in between my normal estate sale finds. If there is a particular unit's pin that you are searching for, just let me know because there's a good chance I'll have it.

Although small, when wrapped it will exceed the postal limit of one quarter of an inch for normal envelope mailing. Delivery will be via USPS First Class Mail Package. Buyer to pay delivery charges of $4.15.

To avoid excess shipping charges, please contact seller for combined shipping charges if multiple purchases are desired.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING depends on the country. Buyer must contact seller for shipping quote before making purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.

All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
