This pin was part of a large lot of over 700 military DUI DI insignia pins purchased at an estate sale. The seller was an avid collector of military items and he specialized in the WWII and Vietnam era. Unfortunately, I can't narrow down an exact time frame for this pin.
The pin is silver and orange in color with the orange portion being enameled. NOTE - in my photo the upper right area appears to be tan in color but it's actually silver in color. It's picking up a reflection of a nearby wall. It measures 1-1/8th inch. It features a shield with a banner across the bottom that is inscribed "In Medias Res" which translates to "Into The Midst Of Things".
It is marked on the back "G23 Ira Green Inc. Made in USA". It has a double clutch holder on back.

Although small, when wrapped it will exceed the postal limit of one quarter of an inch for normal envelope mailing. Delivery will be via USPS First Class Mail Package. Buyer to pay delivery charges of $4.99.
I gladly combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items can safely fit in to a single package. It is best if possible to contact me first to let me know which items you'll be purchasing so that I can adjust the shipping charges, otherwise at checkout you will be charged the full shipping fee for each item. Should that happen, and if appropriate to do so, I refund a portion of those charges.

All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
