This vintage Plymouth nameplate is silver and black in color and measures 9 inches long by 1/2 inch tall. It is a 'stick-on" type of plate. I purchased several vintage nameplates for various vehicles at an estate sale, so I have very limited info about each of them. I'm hoping the pictures will be sufficient.
There is a number on the back of the plate. That number is 3749326. I did a google search using that number and came it brought up the following information:
The nameplate fits 1968 to 1974 Plymouth models on either the hood or the trunk depending on the model. The models are:
Belvedere (1969-1974 hood), (1973-1974 trunk)
Duster
Fury I II III (1969, 1973-1974 hood), (1973-1974 trunk), (1968-1969 hood), (1969 trunk)
Road Runner
Scamp (1969-1973 hood)
Satellite
Sport Fury. (1973-74 trunk), (1969 trunk).
Valiant
The information above regarding the various models the nameplate will fit on was taken from a couple of webpages that I found online. I could not find an official Plymouth website to verify against. Please be sure this emblem with part number 3749326 is correct for your needs as this is a non-returnable item.
The condition of the plate is that it appears to have recently been removed from a vehicle. I have not cleaned or polished it, and it does need to be cleaned. As you can see from my second photo, the back still has a small amount of adhesive attached. That will need to be removed and new adhesive applied. What's there won't be hard to remove because I had to remove a little piece to get to the part number and it was easy using a small pocket knife. Also, there is a very slight upward curve where the letters O and U are, but its so small that I can't give you a measurement on it.
