This carved camel letter opener is Ivory in color and measures seven and one half inches long. Standing at one end is one camel standing on a platform measuring about one inch. Running along the top are 3 smaller camels.
Although ivory in color, I do not know if that's what it's made of. It could be Ivory, Bone, Bakelite, or some type of Celluloid.
I obtained it at an estate sale. There was a tag attached that said "pre-ban, estimated 1950s - 1960s". Because of the words "pre-ban", that sounds to me like it would have to be bone or ivory, but I have no way to test the material so I can't promise what it is. Unfortunately, that's all the information I have about it.
CONDITION:
On what I call the blade side, there is a crack. You'll be able to see that in one of my photos. The crack is at the bottom and measures about a quarter inch long. I don't know if that can be smoothed out or not.

This is what they call their “Delivering for America” plan in which they hope to become profitable. It’s a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we’ve got years to go with multiple price increases each year.
