I'm selling these sugar tongs for a friend. They belonged to her grandmother. She said her grandmother always said she brought them back with her from a trip to England. My friend said she believes that trip was in 1932.
The tongs measure barely over 4 inches long. One area is marked "Barkers of Kensington Restaurant", and inside is marked "HF & Co., S, EP, A1". Researching those marks online, I find the following:
HF & Co. = H. Fisher & Co. 1929
S = Sheffield
EP = electro plated
A1 = silver plate superior quality A1
They are in great condition with no bends or distortion in the shape. There are very fine thin scratches, but nothing that stands out. They are still very shinny and all logos and marks are still very pronounced and readable.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become profitable.
