This is a collection of 6 African animal shaped wood napkin holders. Actually there are 7 animals and I’m guessing it was originally a set of 8 and possibly one got broken or lost, so I’m selling it as a set of 6 and throwing in the one extra animal.
The animals included are 2 antelope, 2 elephants, a hippopotamus, a rhinoceros rhino, and a zebra.
They are hand made. The animals are standing on top of the opening that holds the napkins. The animals are roughly two inches tall. I do not know what type of wood they are made from, but its nice and smooth and shiny.
I obtained the set at an estate sale. The seller said her parents were world travelers but didn’t know which country they were for. She also did not know the age, but said she remembers them being around ‘for decades’. She estimated 1970s.

The shipping charges are set by the U.S. Postal Service.
Here’s the reason for the high charges….. Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become more profitable.
On top of the three increases, the postal service has now divided the nation in to 8 postal zones. Each time a package crosses into another zone, the price increases. I am in Arizona, so most all of my shipments pass through multiple zones.
It's a 10 year plan that the postal service started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases of shipping charges each year. I fear seeing what the costs will be at the end of the plan. …..
I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items can fit safely into a single box or envelope. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment.
