This half dome ball bracelet is estimated to be from the 1960s to 1970s time frame. It is a tall bracelet measuring 2.75 inches wide. It is made of a mixed metal blend of copper and brass. It was made by MVA of Taxco Mexico and is marked as such inside the cuff.
Regarding the “slight damage” that I mention in the title, there is a dent in one of the balls on the very top. The person that I purchased it from said that dent was part of it’s normal design, but I don’t think so. A jeweler can probably answer that question and if it is a dent, a jeweler may be able to smooth it out. I took about 12 pictures to try to capture the ‘dent’, but it would not show up very well in any of them. The closest I could get is in my main picture. The 'dent" is in the ball on the bottom.
If you want a cleaned and perfect ball cuff bracelet, there’s one exactly like this one on ebay right now for $335.
The bracelet is pre-owned and has not been cleaned or polished.
Buyer to pay USPS First Class Mail parcel delivery charges of $6.55. Shipping is from Arizona.
A PERSONAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING COSTS ….
The shipping charges are set by the U.S. Postal Service.
Here’s the reason for the high charges….. Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. They’ve recently even added an 8% increase to cover fuel costs. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become more profitable.
On top of the three increases, the postal service has now divided the nation in to 8 postal zones. Each time a package crosses into another zone, the price increases. I am in Arizona, so most all of my shipments pass through multiple zones.
It's a 10 year plan that the postal service started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases of shipping charges each year. I fear seeing what the costs will be at the end of the plan. …..
I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items can fit safely into a single box or envelope. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.
INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES: Sorry, I do not ship to locations outside of the United States.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
