Boyds Bears & Friends are a collection of hand-painted resin figurines.
The Boyds Bears with the style number 2018 is a figurine from the Boyds Collection Bailey series titled "Bailey & Emily, Forever Friends".
The figurine features Bailey, a medium brown bear with a straw hat sitting on a blanket with her rabbit friend, Emily. Emily, a rabbit has a green bow over her ear.
This retired item was manufactured in 1993 and is dated on the bottom. It measures approximately 3 inches in height, 6 inches long, 4.25 inches wide. This figure is one of the earliest pieces from the Bailey series
Printed on the bottom, it has a quote from Emerson that says “The only way to have a friend, is to be one”.
There is other info printed on the bottom also. This figurine carries the unique limited edition number of E/1840.
The bear is in excellent condition. I see no chips, cracks, or other problems. However, there is no original box.

SPECIAL NOTE about SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly and again in November for the holiday season (so 3 times each year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their “Delivering for America” plan in which they hope to become profitable.
