This is a collectible figurine from the Boyds Bears Bearstone Collection. The figurine depicts a teddy bear wearing his birthday hat and carrying a birthday cake. It is dated 1995 and is now retired.
Boyds Bears & Friends are a collection of hand-painted resin figurines. The Bearstone Collection features sculptural interpretations of the popular Boyds plush bears.
Printed on the bottom it says "Whatever you are, be a good one". That statement is attributed to Abraham Lincoln. There is other info printed on the bottom also. This figurine carries a unique limited edition the number.
The bear is in excellent condition. I see no chips, cracks, or other problems. However, there is no original box.
This figurine would be a wonderful birthday gift for a child who loves bears.

A PERSONAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING COSTS ….
The shipping charges are set by the U.S. Postal Service.
Here’s the reason for the high charges….. Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become more profitable.
On top of the three increases, the postal service has now divided the nation in to 8 postal zones. Each time a package crosses into another zone, the price increases. I am in Arizona, so most all of my shipments pass through multiple zones.
It's a 10 year plan that the postal service started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases of shipping charges each year. I fear seeing what the costs will be at the end of the plan.
