This is the Official Program from the European Sport Car Races in Gardena California.
I've been watching online to try to determine the date, but there is not another one of these exact programs out there and I've been looking for several months now. I believe it is from 1952 because some of the ads inside specifically state the products are from 1952, including new cars. If you view my photo, you'll notice an area in the lower right corner has been cut out. I assume that is where the date was at one time.
Carrell Speedway was built in 1940 and closed on June 1, 1954 because the state purchased the right of way for the Harbor freeway, and that freeway was to be built right through the middle of the race track.
For being over 60 years old, I believe the program is in very good condition. All pages are attached to the cover via staple binding. The program has browned a little with age. Other than the area clipped out at the bottom, there is a tack hole in the upper left corner. I see no other writing or damage inside.

International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
