This is a vintage very bold Casa Maya Mexican hammered mixed metals (copper and brass) wide cuff bracelet. The bracelet features a distinctive hammered texture on the copper base, accented with 2 Aztecan Eagle heads in brass.
The bracelet is mid-century Mexican modernist jewelry and is marked "Mexico".
The bracelet is very well made and is in excellent condition. It has a 2.5 inch opening across the top side to side, by 2.25 inch opening front to back. The width is just over 2.25 tall.
It has 2 eagle faces with brass eyes and brass tabs. The eagle heads are images of the ancient Aztecan eagle Cuauhtli. (Cuauhtli Cultural Significance: The eagle was associated with Huitzilopochtli (sun and war god) and viewed as an avatar of the sun. It represents freedom, equality, and the soaring spirit of the warrior).
I obtained this bracelet at an estate sale. You will receive it just as I did. You may want to have it cleaned, but I think it’s fine just as it is.

A personal note about shipping costs….
The shipping charges are set by the U.S. Postal Service.
Here’s the reason for the high charges….. Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become more profitable.
On top of the three increases, the postal service has now divided the nation in to 8 postal zones. Each time a package crosses into another zone, the price increases. I am in Arizona, so most all of my shipments pass through multiple zones.
It's a 10 year plan that the postal service started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases of shipping charges each year. I fear seeing what the costs will be at the end of the plan.
I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items can fit safely into a single box or envelope. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.
