Chinese Baoding balls, also known as Chinese meditation or exercise balls. They are typically used for stress relief, hand exercise, and relaxation. The set is in a red silk covered box.
These balls are rolled in one hand to stimulate acupuncture points, which is believed to improve blood circulation, joint flexibility, and memory. The balls are hollow and contain chimes that produce calming sounds when rotated. I believe the balls are made of polished stone or a similar material. They have painted designs, one featuring a red sun motif and the other a face/moon motif.

SPECIAL NOTE about SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly and again in November for the holiday season (so 3 times each year) the postal service increases shipping charges.
