This thimble is gold in color, possibly gold plated. It stands one inch tall and is three quarters of an inch across the bottom. The base color is black with a couple of flower in colors of green, white, lavender and red. The inside is a deep turquoise color. There is a sticker inside that states "Made in Beijing China".
Unknown exact date. It is from a large lot of decorative thimbles purchased at an estate sale. The shoebox they were in had a sign that stated the collection to be from the 1970s. It is pre-owned, but it's in excellent condition.
