This is a large scrapbook measuring 10.75 by 15 inches. I purchased it and one other at my local flea market, so I have no info regarding its origin. This listing is for the one scrapbook you see in my photo. I'll just have to state the types of items that I see inside.
Although there is no location mentioned, the other scrapbook that I purchased has a cover very much like this one. It was full of cut out newspaper articles that were mainly from the Clarinda Iowa area, so I figure this scrapbook has to be from the same area.
This one is full of cartoons that were cut out of newspapers and magazines. A large amount of the cartoons deal with the military and military life. There are however, all types of cartoons included. There are also some jokes mixed in. After the cartoons there are several pages of cut outs of movie stars of that era. About 1/3rd of the back pages are blank.
CONDITION:
The cover is all here, but is loose and has some 'chips" on the outer edges. The entire book has browned with age, but it is about 80 years old so I'd expect that.
All in all, the scrapbook is a great time capsule about life in the mid states during a time of war.
Due to postal rules, scrapbooks cannot be mailed via USPS Media Mail, delivery will be via USPS Priority Mail.

It's a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases on shipping charges each year.
