This shoe horn features a Greyhound dog head and measures just over 21 inches long. The dog head and the mid section are made of wood. I believe, but can not promise that the horn end is Bakelite. There is a thin leather strap for hanging.
I obtained it at an estate sale where it had a tag stating that the estimated date is 1950s to 1960s.
I’ve seen this exact design shoe horn on google with the only difference being the type of animal at the top. The page I saw stated these were made by a company in Italy named Cadillac.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or breakage.
