This emergency survivalist radio is a Grundig FR-200 model. It is a must during power outages and any other emergency situation. It runs on 3 AA batteries and also has a hand crank ability that will recharge the built in battery. There is also a slot to insert a DC 4.5V connection. A 4.5V connector cord is not included. There are 3 AA batteries inserted and I will send them with the unit but I do not know how old they are so I don't know how much power is left in them.
The radio will pick up AM, FM, and 2 shortwave bands including weather. It features a superimposed fine tuning control knob and has a white LED emergency light.
It measures about 6.75 inches long by 2 inches wide by 5.75 inches tall. There is a handle on top of the radio. It will come with it's carrying case and the operation manual with other paper items. The case has a shoulder strap and an additional pocket. It is discontinued by the manufacturer.
It's in perfect working order and looks great, but I obtained it at an estate sale so I don't know how much usage it's had in the past.
EXPLANATION OF SHIPPING CHARGES:
Google will not include items in their search pages unless a shipping charge is stated or unless calculated shipping is offered. Calculated shipping is very often quoted incorrectly on the postal website, so I choose to post a charge using the east coast as the destination. If you live in or near Arizona, or even in the western third of the U.S., your charges may be less and if so I will refund an appropriate portion of those charges. If you feel uncomfortable with that, just send me an email with your zipcode and I'll quote you an exact delivery charge.
That being said, buyer to pay no more than $12.95 for USPS Priority Mail delivery charges, again, possibly less depending on your location.
SHIPPING COST INFO:
I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.
Also, every January the postal service increases shipping charges. This year, many price increases were a bit steep with some package categories adding as much as a dollar on to an already high shipping charge. I try to absorb some of the new charges but that's getting harder with each increase.
International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
