I recently purchased two hand made clay smoking pipes at an estate sale. This listing is for one of the pipes, the other one will be in a separate listing.
The seller stated the pipes belonged to her late husband. She said her husband always said that the pipes were made by his grandfather in the 1960s. The grandfather was Native American but she did not know which tribe he belonged to. They were always kept wrapped and packed away in a little box.
The pipe in this listing is black and tan in color. One side is black and eventually blends into a tan coloring on the other side. The pipe measures six inches long. The bowl portion stands just under an inch and a half tall and is one inch across the top. The stem measures almost five inches long. The top of the stem is decorated in a design of X's.
Looking in the bowl, there is no evidence of the pipe ever being used. It is in beyond wonderful condition with no chips, cracks, or breakage.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become profitable.
