I recently purchased two hand made clay smoking pipes at an estate sale. This listing is for one of the pipes, the other one will be in a separate listing.
The seller stated the pipes belonged to her late husband. She said her husband always said that the pipes were made by his grandfather in the 1960s. The grandfather was Native American but she did not know which tribe he belonged to. The pipes were always kept wrapped and packed away in a little box.
The pipe in this listing is light brown or tan in color. It measures six inches long. The bowl portion stands just under an inch and a half tall and is one inch across the top. The stem measures almost five inches long. The top of the stem has a decorative design, but I don't know what the design signifies, if anything.
Looking in the bowl, there is no evidence of the pipe ever being used. It is in beyond wonderful condition with no chips, cracks, or breakage.
