This pair of vintage Hollycraft clip on earrings have a base color of black. They are hightlighted with blue aurora borealis stones and clear rhinestones. They measure about 3/4 inch long. They are marked inside with “Hollycraft” and the date of 1957.

Founded in 1938 as the Hollywood Jewelry Manufacturing Company before jobbing out its designs in 1948 and then being shuttered completely in the 1970s, the short-lived costume jeweler was famous for its use of Aurora Borealis and rhinestones. Perhaps the best thing for collectors about Hollycraft pieces is that all bear the Hollycraft name, and almost all are dated.
Pre-owned, purchased at an estate sale. No missing stones. Wonderful condition, but you’ll probably want to clean them.
Buyer to pay USPS First Class Mail delivery charges of $7.50. The package will be fully insured. Since the insurance is for the benefit of both the buyer and the seller, I split that cost with the buyer. The tracking number will be provided upon request.

SPECIAL NOTE about SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly and again in November for the holiday season (so 3 times each year) the postal service increases shipping charges. Previously, shipping charges were based on weight and zip code. Now, the postal service has divided the United States in to 8 zones and all packages are charged by weight, size, and destination zone. This year's increases have added an additional 1.36 cents to up to $4.03 on packages. I try to absorb some of the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year, unfortunately, I have to increase the shipping. I'll try to keep it reasonable and even absorb some of the changes when possible.
