QVC states that these bracelets are made of cultured freshwater pearls. Each pearl measures just under 1/4 inch round.
When I purchased the set they had a display card that said “Honora/QVC”. I checked the QVC website and they are still selling them but now they come in a set of 3 bracelets for $81. So, that sort of tells me that these 12, if originally purchased as a set, would have been purchased quite a while back.
As far as I can tell, these look to have never been worn, but I purchased them at an estate sale so I have no idea about their past usage.
