I purchased these items at an estate sale recently and am hoping to get them back to the family they belong to. These are from a gentleman named Robert Marchenonis, and his career was as a police officer in Nashua New Hampshire. I purchased them in Sun City Arizona. I did find an obituary for him online and it states he was born In Nashua in 1934 and passed away in Peoria Arizona in 2014. The estate sale was to help raise money to support his widow who was moving to a retirement home.
The items, (top to bottom) as they appear in my photo:
-A metal card, about the size of a credit card. It states that Robert is retired and a member of the New Hampshire Police Association. The card was issued 9-16-1983. Pictured to the right of this card is another card also about the size of a credit card but plastic. It is for Robert’s wife Betty. It states that she is a “Trustee’s Lady” with the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #2251 in Tempe Arizona. It has the dates 1996m 1997. It has a pin attachment on the back for wearing on a lapel.
-In the center there are four metal policeman name plates. All measure around 1/2 by 2.25 inches and have double clutch type holders on the back. They all state his name as Officer R. Marchenonis. One of the four has the Nashua Police insignia.
-The last row has two Nashua Police Department metal insignia bar badges. They are both the same size of about 1/2 by 1.5 inches and have double clutch holders on the back. They say “N.P.D.
