The Ponderosa Ranch was the home of the Cartwright's of Bonanza fame. The Ponderosa Ranch was in the area between Virginia City and Lake Tahoe Nevada.
This is a souvenir collectible metal thimble from a visit to the home when it was open to the public between the years of 1967 to 2004. The home has been closed since 2004, so as these thimbles come up for sale, don't wait too long to grab one as they'll never be made again. In fact, I've extensively searched online and cannot find another Ponderosa thimble anywhere.
It's in great condition. Whoever owned it took very good care of it. It measures 3/4 inch tall. The front features a horseshoe and a Ponderosa Pine tree. The front also says "Ponderosa Ranch Nevada".

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become profitable.
