This map was presented by the Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture Southwestern Region It is dated 1977. It is new old stock (NOS) and appears to have never been used. It may have not ever been unfolded until I took these photos.
It is a rather large map, measuring approx. 43 inches top to bottom by 29 inches side to side. One side of the map shows the western half of the forest and the other side shows the eastern half of the forest. There is also little bits and pieces of information printed in various places on the map.
Again, the map is in excellent condition. It’s around 50 years old and looks like it was printed yesterday. There are no creases (other than the natural folds of a map), there are no smudges, writing, or coloring on the map. It’ll look great framed and hanging on your wall.
About my pictures…. I apologize for the quality. There’s just no way to get flap pictures without pressing the map out and possibly damaging it.
Also, if you are a collector of vintage Arizona maps, I have about eight more with different dates going back to the early 1970s. They are all in the same excellent NOS condition as this one.

A PERSONAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING COSTS ….
The shipping charges are set by the U.S. Postal Service.
Here’s the reason for the high charges….. Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. They’ve recently even added an 8% increase to cover fuel costs. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become more profitable.
On top of the three increases, the postal service has now divided the nation in to 8 postal zones. Each time a package crosses into another zone, the price increases. I am in Arizona, so most all of my shipments pass through multiple zones.
It's a 10 year plan that the postal service started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases of shipping charges each year. I fear seeing what the costs will be at the end of the plan. …..
I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items can fit safely into a single box or envelope. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment.
