What a fun conversation piece! This red stiletto high heel is actually a telephone. It's the push button type. I tested it by plugging it in and making a phone call. It worked perfectly.
It measures about 9 inches long and stands 6 inches tall at the back of the heel. I haven't cleaned it, but it looks fine to me. It is dated on the bottom 1987. I purchased it at an estate sale, so I don't know how much usage it's had. There is a sticker on the bottom with the phone number for HSN. (The past owner must have had them on speed-dial). Also on the bottom it states 'Columbia Telephone, SH910'.
The only problem that I see, and it's really not a problem at all, is that on the bottom of the heel there is supposed to be a little eighth inch plug, but it's not there any longer. I guess that was to keep the heel from scratching something. Anything will work on that area if so desired.
