This necklace is a beautiful statement piece. It was made by Running Bear Native American jewelry makers, which means it was handmade and is a one of a kind piece.
The pendant is 2.5 inches in length measuring from the top of the bail. The pendant consists of two stones, one is black onyx and the other stone is lavender in color but I do not know the name of the stone. The top lavender stone measures 3/4 by 5/8ths inches. Under it is the black onyx stone that measures 1 inch by 1/2 inch at the widest point. The pendant is stamped on the back with ‘Sterling’ and has the Running Bear logo.
Opened, and lying flat, the chain is 21 inches long. I guess I shouldn’t call it a chain because it’s not metal. The ‘chain’ is made of small beads that are strung on wire type material.
The date that the piece was made is unknown to me as I purchased it at an estate sale.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become profitable. It's a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases on shipping charges each year.
