This Sodalite pendant measures 2 inches tall by 1.25 inches side to side. The stone is just under 1/8th of an inch thick. Wrapped around the outer edge is a strip of silver colored metal. I truly believe this metal strip is sterling silver, but the pendant is not marked. I did perform the magnet test and the pendant did not stick or sway at all, which should mean that it is sterling. But, I can not promise that it is sterling.
I recently purchased a shoebox full of vintage jewelry at an estate sale. Through researching I’ve determined that many of the pieces are definitely from the 1940s to 1960s period, but without any markings on this Sodalite piece, I can not determine a time period.

A personal note about shipping costs….
The shipping charges are set by the U.S. Postal Service.
Here’s the reason for the high charges….. Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become more profitable.
On top of the three increases, the postal service has now divided the nation in to 8 postal zones. Each time a package crosses into another zone, the price increases. I am in Arizona, so most all of my shipments pass through multiple zones.
It's a 10 year plan that the postal service started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases of shipping charges each year. I fear seeing what the costs will be at the end of the plan.
I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items can fit safely into a single box or envelope. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.
