Stick pins are long decorated pins worn vertically. They were originally worn by wealthy English gentlemen to secure the folds of their carvats (or ties and scarfs). but are now worn as lapel, hat, and various other ornaments. You can even group several pins together in groups to make unique designs.
I recently purchased several very nice stick pins at an estate sale. The seller said they all belonged to her mother, who was a very prim and proper lady. She wore these to church, social gatherings, celebrations, anywhere that she wanted to look classy. The seller said these would all be from 1950s to 1960s.
This listing is for the one stick pin in the title and that you see in my photo. The others will be in their own listings.
This pin measures 7 inches long. At the top it has one bead, black in color, measuring about 3/8 inch round. This black bead is surrounded by 3 silver beads. The stem is black in color and has a silver end cap.
There is no discoloration, and there are no scratches or cracks.

SPECIAL NOTE about SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly and again in November for the holiday season (so 3 times each year) the postal service increases shipping charges. Previously, shipping charges were based on weight and zip code. Now, the postal service has divided the United States in to 8 zones and all packages are charged by weight, size, and destination zone. This year's increases have added an additional 1.36 cents to up to $4.03 on packages. I try to absorb some of the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years.
