This butterfly brooch is one of the most beautiful pieces of estate jewelry that I've ever acquired. It is bronzed and is covered with crystals and rhinestones. It has an enamel finish. The condition is excellent and all stones are present.
This brand was produced by Shelly Copper who was a historian and an artist. She'd blend the two when she designed her jewels. Her pieces are designed to reflect eras such as her Victorian look pieces. She has famous clients and her pieces are used in the wardrobe department at NBC television and Paramount Pictures. The pieces are made with crystals and ornate findings.
It wing span measures 3.5 inches across, the height is 2.75 inches at the longest point. It is signed on the back. As for the age, I don't know because I purchased it at an estate sale. If I had to guess, I'd say 1960s to 1980s.
Buyer to pay $5.95 for USPS First Class Mail Parcel shipping. The package will be insured. Since the insurance is for the protection of us both, I split that cost with the buyer. Shipping is from Arizona.

Also, every January the postal service increases shipping charges. This year, many price increases were a bit steep with some package categories adding as much as a dollar on to an already high shipping charge. I try to absorb some of the new charges but that's getting harder with each increase.
International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase.
