This is an unusual bottle top opener that is not going to be easy to describe. It has Greek origins, diagrams, and lettering. I believe, but am not sure that it is cast iron. It measures 3.5 inches top to bottom by 2 inches side to side.
One side shows a longhorn cow head with a double headed ax above the head. Each side of the head has Greek lettering with the right side saying 'KPHTH" and the left side with unknown Greek letters. The other side of the opener has a Greek figure and the letters KPHTH.
I've searched everywhere that I can think of for a meaning of 'KPHTH" but can not find one.
CONDITION:
It has a weathered and old look to it. I get the impression that it's been around quite a while. However, I purchased it at an estate sale so the date and other information is unknown to me.
