This is just about the cutest little pocket knife you’ll ever see. The blade opens and closes with no problems, but is a little stained. When closed, it measures just under 1 and 3/4 inches including the bail. The blade measures 1 inch, so overall length when opened is 2 and 3/4 inches. Has a bail for attaching to your keyring. The only marking is where the blade meets the handle and it says USA.
Unfortunately, I do not know what the handle is made of. It’s not shinny, like Mother of Pearl, but has a dull ivory look and may be bone. I don’t know what types of materials were used before the 1950s. And, by the way, I have personal knowledge regarding the date on this knife. It belonged to my grandfather and he passed away in 1955.
Condition: other than the age stain, each side of the handle has one small crack where the cover was applied. It does not affect the handle staying on and the handle is not loose because of it.
