Just about everyone knows Bozo the Clown, either from the TV show or from childhood toys, comics, or books. Bozo's characteristics on this pin is authentic as they come because it was made by the first company to manufacture and distribute Bozo memorabilia back in the 1940s. That company's name was Revelco and it was owned by my friend's grandfather who passed away in 1948. When he passed, his company was sold and the name of the company was changed. I believe that is when Knickerbocker purchased it but I'm not sure. So, this pin is prior to 1948.

The pin is not marked. It measures roughly 2 inches in each direction. I'm not sure of the material it's made of. Although it feels chalk like, it's not made of chalk. The pin is hand painted. There may be a streak of paint out of place, but if so it's no wider than a single paint brush "hair". The pin is in excellent condition because it has never been worn. It's been wrapped and stored safely.

Buyer to pay $4.15 USPS First Class Mail Parcel postage charges. Shipping is from Nevada.

Every January the postal service increases shipping charges. Previously, shipping charges were based solely on weight and a package cost the same amount regardless of where it was being shipped to in the United States. This year they went a bit overboard. Now, with this year's increase, the postal service has divided the United States in to 8 zones and all packages are charged by weight, size, and destination zone. Now it is not possible to state a shipping cost and have it be valid regardless if the package is traveling 2 miles or all the way to the east coast. This latest increase has added an additional .46 cents to up to $1.43 on packages. I try to absorb some of the new charges but that's getting harder with each increase.

To complicate things even further, Google will not show items for sale unless they have a designated cost, or unless the seller uses calculated shipping. My web host is not equipped to figure calculated shipping, so I have to quote a shipping charge using the east coast as the final destination and then refund over payments. When I return the overage, I usually do so by including cash inside the package when it's shipped. My feedback page will show verification that I do return overpayments.

I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items can fit safely into a single box. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.

International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap and on top of that, this year Paypal started charging a currency conversion fee of 4.4%. International shipping now depends on the destination country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.

All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
