Offering an adorable pair of bronzed baby shoes. I obtained them at an estate sale. I was told by the seller that the shoes would have been from the Los Angeles area. She said the shoes would have been either her mother’s, or her uncle’s baby ahoes. She said her mother was born in 1927 and the uncle was born in 1925, so going by those dates these shoes should be from the 1920s.
This type of shoe was called “High Button”. There are no laces, there are three buttons in each shoe that are clearly visible. Also visible are the tops of the little nails on the bottom heel area. This pair measures 5 inches toe to heel, 2 inches across, and just under 3 inches tall.
The finish is dark brown in color. As you can see in my photo, some small pieces of the bronzing have chipped off. There will probably be very small chips left in the packing material when you receive them.
These types of older bronzed baby shoes are being used these days as baby shower table decorations, nursery décor, and other decorations around the home.

Previously, shipping charges were based on weight and zip code. Now, the postal service has divided the United States in to 8 zones and all packages are charged by weight, size, and destination zone.
