Personally, I don't know the first thing about barometers and thermometers. I obtained this at an estate sale. The seller said it is in great working condition. It does seem to be accurate on the temperature, but I've no idea what the other gages mean or represent.
It is made by Swift and Anderson Inc of Boston Mass. The design is a double ships wheel and it's made of brass, glass, and wood. The wood base measures 9.75 inches long.
There are no cracks in the glass, and I see no dents. You'll probably want to polish it as there are small area of oxidation on the top and back.
