This Chelson China demitasse cup and saucer came from my mother-in-laws estate. The cup stands 2.25 inches tall. The saucer measures 4.25 inches across. The paint is enamel. The coloring is a bold yellow base color, yellow flowers with green leaves, floral motif. Inside is bright white.
The estimated date on the set is 1940s to 1950s. Crazing is just beginning on the inner edge of the white center portion of the saucer, but it's very faint.
