This check was written on June 22, 1918. It was from the account of S.R. Moore & Co., Real Estate and Mining Investments, Tonopah Nevada. It was written for the amount of $5.32 and was paid to the order of F. G. Miller. It was signed by S. R. Moore. It was drawn on The Tonopah Banking Corporation.
The check measures 8.25 by 3.25 inches. It is shellacked and mounted on a piece of old wood that measures 8.75 by 4.75 inches. The wood is 3/4 inch thick. The check appears to be burnt around the edges. There are no hooks on the back. I can see a faint scratching on the back of the name L. Baker.
I purchased it at an estate sale so have no other info about it.
