This watch is a Seiko model number 11-8309. It is a wind-up watch with an white oval face and a silver colored band. The band, from end to end including the clasp is 7 and 3/4 inch long so I’d say it’s for a bigger wrist. The links on the band appear to be adjustable, but probably would have to be done by a jeweler. The clasp is secure and works great also.
I tested for several days and it kept perfect time.
I purchased it at an estate sale. The seller stated that it was a high school graduation gift and that she graduated in the mid 1970s. She said she wore it twice that she could remember. She wore it to her graduation, and wore it once to her sister’s wedding. She said she always felt it was too ‘fancy’ to wear anywhere else.
I would classify it as being for dress-up or a formal occasion and would agree it’s probably not an everyday watch.
It will come in it’s original brown padded box that has the Seiko logo on the top. The box is damaged. There are no rips, gouges, or staining on the box, but both hinges on the back have come unattached. Possibly your jeweler could put those back on.
