Most people have seen the TV commercials for the Serta Mattress that features the plush sheep. The sheep came to be due to an advertising executive that couldn't sleep one night so as he lay awake he decided that the next day he would shop for a new mattress. He continued to try to fall asleep by counting sheep. The next day he went to Serta and while purchasing a new mattress he came up with the advertising idea of the sheep.
The little plush sheep were given numbers, each numbered sheep had its own biography. There were also a few "special occasion" sheep. This number 3 sheep is one of the special ones. It is in recognition of Breast Cancer Research.
Measuring it is a bit difficult because it's limber. It's roughly 7 inches tall if it were standing on all 4 legs, and 9 inches long. It has very blue eyes that appear to be very slightly cross-eyed. It's wearing a pink ribbon around its neck and attached to the ribbon is a 1.5 inch round token. One side of the token reads "Support Breast Cancer Research", the other side reads "Serta, We Make The World's Best Mattress". The cloth tag has the copyright date of 2000.
It's in great condition with no rips, tears, or stains.
