This small gourd measures 3.25 inches tall. It is etched with a western theme. One area shows a cowboy riding a horse. It appears that he is riding away from a house. (The house is also pictured). Another area has a vertical box measuring 2.25 by .25 inch that spells out 'Uruguay'. It had a rattle, which would be the dried seeds inside. There is a ring at the top for hanging.
The age is unknown as I purchased it at an estate sale. The lady holding the sale said she can remember it sitting on a shelf in a closed hutch since she was a kid. and she was no spring chicken.
There are no dents, cracks, or breakage.
