This vintage kaleidoscope is marked Ikecho #110, and is also marked “Made In Japan”. One side of the tube has a policeman, the other side has a prisoner. It stands 7.5 inches tall and is 2 inches round. The sections turn with ease. When turned, the inside has what I would call a floral design.
I think it’s in great condition. There are some white spots showing, mainly on the policemans blue uniform. There is some color discoloration on the metal top.
As for the age, I can only guess 1950s to 1960s. I tried to research the name Ikecho to see what dates they were in business, but could find nothing. I purchased it at an estate sale, so there was no one to ask about it’s history.

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become profitable. It's a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases on shipping charges each year. I try to absorb the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year unfortunately, I have to if I want to stay in business. I'll try to keep it reasonable and even absorb some of the increases when possible.
