2nd U.S. Army Support Battalion Mobile Sum enameled insignia pin. When I obtained it, it was attached to a small homemade cardboard square. Written on the cardboard it says "2nd Sup Bat NAM". That would have been written by a past owner.
The pin measures about 3/4 by 1-1/4 inch. On the front is the shield with the words "Mobile Sum" at the bottom and a horse head at the top. The back is marked in raised lettering "N.S. Meyer Inc. New York". Also on the back are 2 shields. The shield on the left is the Meyer shield with the word Meyer going vertically and New York running horizontally, the shield on the right has the number 9 over the letter M. The back has a double clutch holder.
It is in excellent condition with all coloring still very vibrant.
I obtained a large lot of pins recently at an estate sale of a man who was a very serious pin collector. I was told he served in Vietnam so that was the time frame he specialized in but that he also collected pins from as early as WWI, WWII, and Korean War time frames.
This gentleman is moving into an assisted living facility, so his estate is being liquidated. The large lot of pins that I purchased consisted of 723 pins that he collected. I will list them several at a time in between my normal estate sale finds. If there is a particular unit's pin that you are searching for, just let me know because there's a good chance I'll have it.
You will receive the actual pin that you see in my photo.
Although small, when wrapped it will exceed the postal limit of one quarter of an inch for normal envelope mailing. Delivery will be via USPS First Class Mail Package. Buyer to pay delivery charges of $4.15.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING depends on the country. Buyer must contact seller for shipping quote before making purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
