There are two newspapers in this listing. They are both dated August 14, 1945. The difference is the edition number, one being the 2nd Extra edition, the other being the 8th edition. I had read that on important days such as this day, the news came in so fast that the newspapers kept printing the papers with the updates, causing a new edition.
An interesting thing about these newspapers is that all advertising was suspended. There are no ads at all.
In the newspaper that is the 2nd edition, there are 8 pages. There are a few short (quarter inch or so) tears at the open edge.
In the newspaper that is the 8th edition, there are 12 pages, also with several short tears along the open edge.
Other than that, I'd say the papers are in wonderful condition for their age.

Items in my listings come from estate sales, garage sales, or various auctions. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
