I purchased this pair of sterling silver earrings recently at a moving sale. The seller said they were a 'Sweet Sixteen" gift to her back in 1964 but that she never wore them because she always thought they were too fancy.
The seller stated that they are sterling silver and that each earring has a single carved jade leaf and a single pearl. They are marked 'Sterling'. I tested the green leaves using a Presidium Gem Tester and it shows that the leaves are actually from a stone called Chrysoprase. As for the pearl on each earring, I have no way of testing pearls so will have to go by what the seller told me on those.
They measure one inch from the top of the pearl to the bottom of the leaf. They are marked "WELLS" and Sterling.
Note that in my photo you'll see little dark colored dots on the silver portions. Those are a reflection and are not on the earrings.
Buyer to pay $4.99 for USPS First Class Mail Parcel shipping. Shipping is from Nevada.
NOTE - I gladly combine items for discounted shipping as long as all items are paid for at one time and as long as all items can safely fit in to a single box. If purchasing multiple items it's best to contact me first so that I can adjust the shipping price. Otherwise, you'll be charged the full delivery cost for each item. If it's inconvenient to contact me, and you get charged the full rate for each item, I can issue a refund, but why pay all that up front, just to be re-imbursed.
With this year's postal increase, all shipping charges increased and international shipping took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
