This pin was part of a large lot of over 700 military DUI DI insignia pins purchased at an estate sale. The seller was an avid collector of military items and he specialized in the WWII and Vietnam era. He attached each pin to a small cardboard square and made notes on each card. On this one, he wrote "Vietnam".
The front features an 8 point gold colored star of rays with a green palmetto leaf in the center. In the center of the palmetto leaf is a fleur-de-lis. Along the bottom is the motto "Toujours Pret" which means "Always Ready".
The pin measures about 1 inch. The front is enameled. The back is marked "Made in U.S.A. G23" and has a double clutch holder.

Although small, when wrapped it will exceed the postal limit of one quarter of an inch for normal envelope mailing. Delivery will be via USPS First Class Mail Package. Buyer to pay delivery charges of $4.99.

Also, every January the postal service increases shipping charges. This year, many price increases were a bit steep with some package categories adding as much as a dollar on to an already high shipping charge. I try to absorb some of the new charges but that's getting harder with each increase.
International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
All items in my listings come from either estate or garage sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
