Classic cut glass carnival box purse in shimmering golden brown beads. Oval in shape, measuring 8 inches side to side, 3.7 inches front to back, 4.5 inches tall. Those measurements are with the lid on. The cover is detachable and comes with a mirror inside that is attached to the entire area of the top. Regarding the mirror, around the outer edge for about a quarter of an inch there is a slightly dark area. Since this area is completely around the outer edge, I believe it is there purposely. Just thought I should mention that. Otherwise, the mirror is in great condition with no breakage and shows a great image. Note that in my second photo, it appears that the center of the mirror is beaded, but that's just a reflection. The mirror covers the entire inside lid. You can also see that quarter inch dark area that I commented on.
There is a pocket inside that measures about 3 by 4.5 inches. The interior is dark brown and I believe the lining is satin. The handle is also totally beaded and measures 18 inches from where it attaches to the purse on each side. The handle attaches about 2 inches down from the top.
I'm selling it for a friend. It belonged to her mother. She tells me that it's from the 1940s and says she never saw her mother use it. It's in such great condition that if it was ever used, it wasn't more than a time or two.

The package will be mailed via USPS Insured Priority Mail Parcel. It will arrive with Signature Required, meaning someone will have to sign for it when it arrives.
That being said, buyer to pay no more than $8.95 delivery charges, again, possibly less depending on your location.

I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items can safely fit in to a single package. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.
Also, every January the postal service increases shipping charges. This year, many price increases were a bit steep with some package categories adding as much as a dollar on to an already high shipping charge. I try to absorb some of the new charges but that's getting harder with each increase.
International shipping charges also took a tremendous leap. International shipping will now depend on the country. Buyer must contact seller for international shipping charges before making a purchase. Seller reserves the right to void any international transactions where contact has not been made prior to purchasing.
