I obtained this very old book at an estate sale so have very little information about it. I can’t even tell you the age as it’s not dated inside. I can say I’m positive it’s well over 100 years old. I found a similar one online and it was dated 1904. I’m not saying that’s the date on this one though as I believe it’s older than that. A couple of clues regarding an age is that there is a picture and it’s protected by an onion skin page. Another clue is the way the pages were cut with a slightly jagged edge approach.
What’s really surprising to me is that I don’t believe the book has ever been read. The reason I say that is because along the bottom, and several of the sides of some pages, they were never cut. There are areas where 3 or 4 pages are still attached together and you can’t read a book if the pages can’t be turned. The pages can be opened though by sliding a knife between the pages.
The book measures 4 by 6 inches and has 256 pages. It has a leatherette type cover. I believe it is in great condition but there are several whitish spots on the front cover that measure about one eighth of an inch or smaller.

Buyer to pay USPS Media Mail delivery charges of $4.99. Shipping is from Nevada. Delivery time for Media Mail is quoted by the postal service at 8 to 10 days, but with the new policies of the postal service, if mail delivery is running late, Media packages can be held until whenever it is convenient to deliver them. I purchased a couple of books 8 weeks ago and they are still in transit.
If you would prefer Priority Mail for quicker delivery just let me know and I can give you a quote on that service. Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, or American territories will have to be via Priority Mail as the postal service will not quote a delivery time for Media Mail to those locations.
