I worked as a distributor and seller of scientific glassware for 15 years and I never saw anything this unusual. I even spent most of those years working at CalTech in Pasadena and those people would order the strangest supplies, but again, nothing like this.
Whoever made this had a great imagination.
I purchased it at an estate sale a few years ago. I believe this creation to be something that someone just decided to piece together to see how weird they could make something look. I don't know if it was made to be a desk accessory or caddy, but that's how I've used it for the last couple of years. The openings in the top of the flasks are perfect for pens, pencils, pen lights, telescoping magnets, and any number of items.
Here's the particulars:
There are 18 flasks. They are step-stacked in two rows to make a round configuration. The overall height of the entire unit is just under 4 inches and it measures 8.25 inches across. I do not know the liquid capacity but all flasks are the same size and measure just under 3 inches tall with a 3/4 inch opening at the top of each. Just above the ball of the flask, that 3/4 inch opening tapers to about 1/2 inch (I can't get in there to measure the exact width). Each flask has been fused to the flask on each side of it. The center has an opening that fits a cup or larger size water bottle perfectly. There is no brand name on any of the flasks. There is a very small two digit number on the bottom of each.
The unit is in great condition with no chips, breakage, or crazing.

If so, I refund an appropriate amount of the over payment. That being said, buyer to pay delivery charges of $12.95. Shipping is from Nevada.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES: Twice yearly, and again in November for the holiday season (so three times per year) the postal service increases shipping charges. This is what they call their "Delivering For America" plan in which they hope to become profitable. It's a 10 year plan that started in 2021, so we've got years to go with multiple price increases on shipping charges each year. I try to absorb the new charges and haven't increased my shipping charges in three years. This year unfortunately, I have to if I want to stay in business. I'll try to keep it reasonable and even absorb some of the increases when possible.
I do combine shipping on multiple items purchased as long as all items will safely fit into a single box or envelope. However, my web host is not set up to calculate multiple item shipping costs. At checkout, you will be charged full shipping price on each item purchased and I will refund the appropriate amount of overpayment. If you are uncomfortable with that, you can send me an email with your zip code and stating which items you'll be purchasing and I'll calculate the correct combined shipping charges and send you a custom invoice.
