The USAMTU has compiled this guide with the intent of providing assistance to pistol marksmen throughout the United States. Much of the information has been contributed by Championship caliber U.S. Army pistol shooters and coaches. The text is designed for ready reference and contains the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship and the most advanced techniques known to these experts. The data presented represents a comprehensive coverage of the many facets of pistol marksmanship and related subjects.
This is a paperback book measuring 7.75 by 10.25 inches. There are 146 pages and it is highly illustrated with pictures and drawings. The Foreward page has a message from the giver of the book to his son, other than that I see no writing in the book.
Also, attached to the front cover on the inside is a personal letter that was written requesting this book. The reply is also included and it has quite a bit of information regarding the types of weapons this unit or team uses. The reply is on paper with the letterhead from Fort Benning Georgia. These letters are dated 1972.
One last note: For some reason, my photos make this book look bright blue in color. It is more like a dull blue color.
