Remember wearing your skate key around your neck? If you know how to clean this one up, you can put it on a chain and wear it again. It would be fun explaining it to the kids of today!
This one is rusty. I found it in a barely standing old garage during an estate sale. A work bench was lined with coffee cans full of rusty items that had been sitting for years. I'm told there is a product that rusty metal items can be soaked in to remove the rust, but I don't recall the name of it. I don't know the condition of the key under the rust. One side of the key is marked "Chicago Skate Co.. It would definitely be from the 1950s, possibly earlier, but that's when I had one.
